The Women’s March Foundation, based in Los Angeles, marked the second anniversary of Roe v. Wade's overturning with a City Hall news conference; founder Emiliana Guereca discussed the foundation's progress and future goals. June was Pride month, and PFLAG ended it with an LGBTQIA+ forum at Saint Stephens, where I spoke with founders Jeff and Peggy Stabile about the organization. In Sports, Santa Clarita's Jeremy Bischoff competed in the U.S. Men’s Gymnastics Olympic Trials but missed the cut for the Paris Olympics, while the Dodgers, despite a strong start, dropped two of three games to the Giants yet remain on track for a 100-win season.
